Dear Debert,
I am writing to express to you how much I enjoyed working with you during
the Network Journal's "25 Influential Black Women in Business"
Awards Luncheon on Friday, March 26, 1999.
As the 6 o'clock news anchor for WCBS News, I am often asked to speak or
emcee at a number of community events each year. The Network Journal
event that you coordinated was, by far, the best planned and organized
event that I have ever participated in. From the moment I agreed to
take part, you made every effort to keep me thoroughly informed, so that
when I had to perform my role at the awards luncheon, I was completely
comfortable and at ease.
You are extremely organized, efficient, and most pleasant to work with. I
wish you continued success with Event Planners Plus!
Sincerely,
Lisa Cooley (Hill)

Dear Ms. Cook:
I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for all you did to help
develop
and coordinate the Savings Awareness and Investment Opportunities
Conference on October 3, 1998. Your efforts were invaluable in
planning and executing this event.
The significant turnout and the manner in which unanticipated
circumstances were handled are testaments to your ability and
professionalism. As this conference will serve as a model for other,
similar events throughout the State, the fruits of your labor will also be
shared by thousands of other New Yorkers. You helped develop an
event which will provide great returns to many people for years to come.
Again, thank you for everything you did. I, and the attendees who
benefited,
greatly appreciate your help in making this much needed event a reality.
With best wishes for continued prosperity,
Sincerely,
H. Carl McCall

Dear Ms. Cook:
The Medgar Evers College 30th Anniversary Gala held on October 4, 2001 at
the Brooklyn Marriott was an overwhelming success. This success was
made possible by your considerable assistance. Your joining us and
adding your skills and expertise, even at a time that some considered late
in the planning and implementation process, helped us overcome the
obstacles that stood in our way. You were a wonderful and
professional addition to this effort. Your addition, to our Medgar
Evers College family, was seamless in regards to your chipping in and
becoming a leading part of our team effort.
We look forward to working with you in the future and wish you much
success. Once again, thank you for all of your hard work. It
paid off with a very successful event.
Sincerely,
Edison O. Jackson
